Groups

Group therapy is a therapeutic approach that involves a small, carefully facilitated group of individuals who meet regularly to explore shared concerns, emotions, and goals. Led by an experienced therapist, group members provide mutual support, share insights, and learn from each other’s experiences. Group therapy can offer a unique opportunity to connect with others facing similar challenges, fostering a sense of belonging and empowerment on your journey to healing.

Is Group Therapy Right for You? Group therapy is suitable for a wide range of individuals seeking support and personal growth. It can be particularly beneficial for those who value connecting with others, learning from diverse perspectives, and participating in a structured and supportive environment.

We are excited to announce the launch of new clinical group therapy sessions starting in early 2025.

All sessions are offered free of charge for Danville residents.
Residents from other cities will receive the first six group sessions at no cost.
Afterward, sessions are $40 each, with payment for six sessions required upfront.
Financial assistance is available on a sliding scale for those in need.
For questions and to enroll, contact us at 925-837-0505.

SENIOR SUPPORT GROUP

A supportive group environment for seniors to feel more connected by helping them gain new ideas on how to cope with challenges commonly faced by seniors including issues of physical and mental health, coping with grief and loss, loneliness, stress, and life transitions. The goals of this group are to create connection, gain insight on common issues, and build resilience and a sense of community.

LGBTQ+ High School Teen Group

This is a safe, inclusive space specifically for high school-aged teens who identify within the LGBTQ+ community. It’s a place to connect, share experiences, and receive support around LGBTQ+ related issues. Our group fosters a sense of belonging, promoting both personal healing and collective growth through open communication and mutual understanding.

We focus on building awareness of diverse LGBTQ+ identities, providing a supportive environment where everyone can feel seen and heard. With guidance from trained facilitators, the group offers structured opportunities for peer support, sharing coping strategies, and strengthening resilience in a way that is relatable and relevant to the challenges teens face.

Grief Group

Join a nurturing space to explore grief through authentic conversation, compassionate listening, and shared creative practices. Our gatherings will include:

  • Thoughtful discussions and weekly exploration topics.
  • Gentle somatic movement and grounding exercises.
  • Poetry and short writing prompts, with an open invitation to share.
  • Insights and practices to engage with grief between sessions.

“Where there is sorrow, there is holy ground.”
